The top 10 women in clean tech

lEarth2tech has a great story profiling what it reckons are the top 10 women in the clean tech industry.

Top of the list is one Nancy Floyd, the founder and MD of Nth Power, a venture capital firm.

When Nancy Floyd started Nth Power in 1993, women were even less common in the industry that would become known as cleantech. A serial entrepreneur, Floyd decided to start her first venture firm with a focus on clean energy technology because she was already an expert in the space.

Others in the list include GE’s Lorraine Bolsinger (pictured here; picture courtesy of Premio Eco), who runs the company’s high-profile Ecomagination initiative.
