More than 400 investors, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders and policy-makers are expected to convene in Copenhagen for the 28-30 April Cleantech Forum(R) XXII.

Organised by The Cleantech Group, the forum will focus on the likelihood of a global deal on climate change, and will also examine the potential economic benefits and opportunities for the cleantech sector. Another key item of discussion will be how the global economic crisis is affecting investment in clean technologies.

Among the speakers set to attend are Lene Espersen, the Deputy Prime Minister of Denmark; Kevin Parker, global head of Deutsche Bank Asset Management; and Dimitri Zenghelis, Cisco’s climate change chief economist and co-author of The Stern Review on the economics of climate change.

Copenhagen will be the gathering spot for world leaders seeking to negotiate a successor to the Kyoto Protocol on climate change.
