Computer Weekly nominates Greenbang for blog award

By Greenbang on Thursday, 8th October 2009

Hurrah! Greenbang’s just been nominated for a Computer Weekly Blog Award in the category of Sustainable and green IT.

This is the second year for Computer Weekly’s IT blog awards, which were created to “discover which bloggers are best meeting the needs of IT professionals in the UK.” The Sustainable and green IT category is a new one this year and is aimed at highlighting “the work being done to improve the green credentials of the IT industry,” according to Computer Weekly.

On 27 October, Computer Weekly will publish a shortlist of nominees to be put to a public vote (which we encourage you, dear readers, to participate in). The final winners in each category are set to be announced on 25 November during a ceremony at Shoreditch House in London.

We eagerly await the results, and thank Computer Weekly for the recognition!
