Multimap calculates your journey’s carbon footprint

mapOnline mapping service Multimap has added a new feature that allows drivers to get an idea of how much carbon their car will emit on a journey. The service is done in partnership with Carbon Clear, which helps firms cut their carbon emissions.

For example, a common journey that Greenbang takes, if he had to drive, would cause 3.57kgs of carbon (in a medium sized petrol car). Good thing he takes the train then.
