The Climate Group is one of six partners supporting the World Business Summit on Climate Change to be held in Copenhagen starting Saturday.
The Climate Group is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that works with government and business leaders to advance smart policies and technologies for cutting global greenhouse gas emissions and accelerating a low-carbon economy.
Several spokespeople from The Climate Group will be attending this weekend’s summit:
- CEO Steve Howard, who is also chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Climate Change. Howard will join a panel discussion on Monday titled “Rapid transformation to a low-carbon economy: What will it take?”;
- Policy director Mark Kenber, who will be rapporteur for Monday’s working group meetings on carbon markets; and
- China director Changhua Wu.
