Editor wanted for green mag
CNET Networks UK, Greenbang’s former employer, is recruiting an editor for an online green consumer publication.
CNET publishes ZDNet.co.uk and silicon.com.
The salary isn’t published, but CNET doesn’t pay too badly, and you’ll probably get a laptop and a mobile phone. It’s not a bad place to work either. And the Southwark-based offices are quite cushy.
Be prepared to hang about a bit though – insider reports suggest it won’t launch until Q2 next year 😉
Here’s the ad:
CNET Networks are looking for a copy editor with at least one years experience copy editing in an online environment, preferably on a green consumer publication.
You will be sub-editing and publishing UK stories including reviews, blog news, features and comment. In addition to this you will also be organizing and presenting podcasts and scheduling video shoots with the editor and staff writer.
You will be required to maintain sections of our new site and moderate user comments. You will also have the opportunity to become involved in all aspects of the project including writing original copy.
You will have proven sub-editing experience and a keen interest in green and ethical living products and issues.
Please send CVs and covering letters to recruitment@cnet.com
