Harry Potter and the green book of myths

EcoGeek spotted this: Claims that the seventh Harry Potter book is the greenest publication ever are bogus, he says:

“There’s a couple of reports flying around that HP7 (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) is the greenest book in history! Well, I just wanted to let everyone know that that is complete crap.

…only 65% of the pulp used in HP7 is certified ancient-forest friendly and that makes it the greenest book ever??? No indeed. In fact, Scholastic is being fairly backward and profit-driven here. How much cash do they really need to haul here. Honestly, they could pass the cost onto the consumer and absolutely no one would mind. It’s worth noting that Rowling herself requested that all of her publishers use 100% recycled content. Most of them, including her Canadian and Brittish publishers, complied. Scholastic refused.”
