Small wind turbine firm sets eyes on global expansion

964567_windmillLoughborough-based Iskra Wind Turbines today launched its new company brand — Evance — and announced four new European resellers for its small wind turbines.

The company says the rebrand to Evance — a blend of “energy” and “advance” — was developed to “provide a communications platform that will support the company’s aggressive expansion into international markets.

Four new resellers have also come on board to sell the firm’s new Evance Iskra R9000 5-kilowatt wind turbine: Shetland Wind Power of Scotland, Slawinski of Poland, ASP Energie Technik of Germany and Regen of Ireland.

“Today’s announcements bring together a unique combination of a new turbine, a brand platform to support international expansion and highly professional resellers,” said Pete Allen, CEO of Evance.

The energy transition runs on infrastructure. Keep up.
