Business Lawyers LG question “piecemeal” approach on The Climate Change Bill:
“This new Bill sets extremely ambitious targets and is a further example of the lack of consistency in the UK government’s approach,” commented Colleen Theron, environmental specialist at the business law firm LG.
“For instance, by focusing specifically on CO2 emissions and excluding other substances normally thought of as “greenhouse gases”, the UK legislation is piecemeal and out of step with the broader international approach.”
