Environment Secretary Hilary Benn has re-appointed three Commissioners to the Sustainable Development Commission.
The re-appointed members are Ann Finlayson (Commissioner for Education and Capability Building), Stewart Davies (Commissioner for Business) and Waheed Saleem (Commissioner for Young People).
The re-appointments were made in accordance with guidance issued by the Office for the Commissioner for Public Appointments. Both Finlayson and Davies have each been offered a second three-year term, while Saleem’s re-appointment runs through July 2009, bringing his length of service up to the usual three years.
