Every company wants to broadcast its efforts to save the environment, and China’s Lenovo is also bursting to build its green image.

Chen Zhaopeng, Lenovo’s CEO of the Greater China Region revealed to sina tech, that Lenovo is implementing an eco project and will make it a global  one, but gave no further details.

“We have committed to energy-saving and environmental protection for a long time, but we just don’t want to boast it.” Chen added.

Lenovo has just announced it will join the China Electronic Energy-saving technology association. A few days before, the company  launched the ThinkCentre A61e – which it claims is its smallest, quietest and most energy-efficient desktop PC that can save “the equivalent of the carbon dioxide emissions created by two round-trip plane flights from Boston to New York.”
