Making CIOs wake up and read their energy bills

powerGreenbang is willing to bet that a couple of new demands are going to land on the desks of IT bosses over the next year or two. One of them is going to be an explanation of why all those PCs, servers and other gizmos are costing the company so much in terms of its electricity bill.

Right now, most CIOs have no idea what all of their kit costs the company, because the bills aren’t itemised like that. But odds are that this is going to change, as this article argues:
