Recycling rates rise in Cardiff
The Welsh are getting into their recycling, the local online rag says:
Liberal Democrat council leader Rodney Berman said that one of his party’s aims when they came to power in 2004 was to give people more opportunities to recycle.
“We are now recycling and composting 27 per cent of waste. We are aiming to go further, taking it up to 40 per cent and 50 per cent and beyond,” he said.
