Schools Google for green computers
Kids today don’t even know they’re born. Give them $30 and they’d probably complain that it isn’t enough to buy the latest Wii game, ungrateful sods that they are.
Happily, their elders and betters are on the scene to spend those all important $30 in a slightly more useful way.
In this case, it’s the governors of Kansas and Minnesota who are spending an average $30 more per computer on ‘green PCs’ and they’ve got Google to give them a hand.
The energy efficient PCs will even shut off at 5.30pm every week to cut the schools leccy bills – fingers crossed no one’s working on them at the time.
